Crashes ALWAYS

Jaypanda wrote on 1/13/2020, 5:34 PM

Anyone else having this issue? The constant crashes in Win10. About every 5 minutes (max). If I try to listen to the track at any point, it crashes...if it doesn't crash, it plays the audio files all jumbled up and not in sync, or even close to where the marker is. I also have issues with some files now being crazy distorted. The levels all look fine, but everything is distorted like a broken speaker. Sometimes, when I output a file, it sounds fine in the mix...then output..all distorted. Try outputting again radomly, all levels fine.

This is getting to be a bit much. The CONSTANT crashing, especially. I'm not able to get any work done. Heaven forbid I forget to save the file every 5 seconds..or I lose any work.

@Mats-Arnkrr You need to increase the playback buffer size in the program settings or else your sound chip cannot keep up with the calculations necessary for the audio engine. This is why an external audio interface with an ASIO driver is recommended.
