@CharlyGo

OpenCL.dll is a Windows file, so not something you would obtain from Magix.

This Google search page lists several possible solutions to your problem. I cannot vouch for any of the proposed solutions (since I have never personally encountered the problem) so, as always, do proceed very carefully if you try any of the suggested methods.

Hi

. . . . There is an error in module OpenCL.dll I guess I need a replacement file, but how do I get it? . . . .

I would strongly advise you not to use any '3rd party' sources for the OpenCL.dll file you never know what you are getting and, worst case, may compromise your computer security.

As a first step update the drivers for your graphics card, and/or integrated GPU (Intel processor) the Open CL DLL file is part of the graphics card drivers

We need more information:

  1. Is this a new install or was the program working and is now giving the error message?

  2. If the program was working, what changed on the computer?

  3. Computer specification and program version, see this topic for what is required and please quote processor and graphics card make/model in full.

    I would suggest you put this information in your profile signature so we do not have to keep asking for it.

It's a stock Dell 3620 i7-6700@3.4 Ghz with 32gb of ram and a 1 TB SSD. It happens on first run after install. Latest versions and up to date Win10 Pro. No other issues. It's just installs from Magix and first open shows the error.

Hi

. . . . Latest versions  . . . .

Assuming this refers to the integrated Intel GPU, which for the processor quoted is an HD530, is this the Dell drivers for the iGPU or the Intel drivers?

The latest drivers for the  i7-6700 processor iGPU are v 30.0.101.1660, if you are using the 'latest' Dell drivers for this PC they are v 27.20.100.9664 which are out of date.
