crashing after update

I installed the update yesterday and ever since then I can't record I can't open the audio drivers w/o a crash, basically ever since the update it is a shit show. If I can't record from my external web cam(switcher w/ audio) then there is nothing to edit so please figure out why my Blackmagic ATEM mini will no longer work when it was fine before the update.

What program isn't working? This is the Movie Edit Pro forum. As far as I know the Black Magic ATEM has never been supported.

Do you need the Magix forums or Vegas?

Ok here's the deal, I bought Magix movie edit pro premium and I had my blackmagic plugged into the computer as the webcam, I was doing some testing getting the results I wanted then installed the new 2021 magix movie edit pro premium update and now I am unable to record from my external webcam (the blackmagic). It was working now its not the only change was the update.

Thank you for some clarification.

You have to understand this is a user to user forum with no Magix staff visiting. When I did an internet search to try to find out what a Black Magic ATEM was, the internet search came back with the result that it was a MIDI work station.

Normally non connections to peripherals are caused by needing to update the peripherals drivers. Had you checked the webcams internet site to see if newer drivers are available?

Hi Ray

Are you looking at the wrong device? The Blackmagic ATEM mini is here. - it is a multi camera input switch capable of recording, and outputting live stream mimicking a webcam over USB.

Are you using the Analog recording option, setting the recording device to the ATEM mini, to record the USB output of the ATEM mini?

Note: if you are using a laptop and it has a built in camera then you may need to disable it to allow the ATEM to be recognised as a webcam.

so the more I play with it the more I narrow it down. Yes I have disabled the internal webcam. Magix is seeing it but it won't connect, all drivers are fully up to date on all devices, windows in fully updated. If I click on video drivers in the record window and try to connect after it tells me it can't connect Magix crashes, if I try to connect the to blackmagic audio the Magix crashes. None of this was happening before the 2021 update so does anyone know how to contact these people so they can write a fix patch for it.
