'Create Wave Form' Option

weedavy6969 wrote on 8/3/2020, 2:47 PM

Why ..just sometimes....when I drag an audio onto the timeline,

Magix DOESN'T give me the option to create wave form?

Is it because I've pulled a .wav file onto the time line?

Is it because I dragged it to the 5th Timeline?

For this project I'm working on..I need to line up the wave forms!

I'm a musician and not being able to see the waves really creates problems!

Thanks in advance

Hi Davy.

I think I remember John EB saying that option for whatever reason isn't available on track 5. just put it on track six and you should get the option back. If you don't have a track six or you have other tracks underneath Just use the add track option to add track above it and automatically push the track it's on to track 6.

The second option is to have it set in your program settings.

Ray.

Hi

Every time I drag a WAV file on to the timeline, irrespective of the track number, the waveform is automatically created - this is despite the option being turned off in the program settings.

Zoom in vertically to expand the height of the audio object to see if it is there.
