Creating an MX-V file

Hi Ray,

You get the Export box as always because you can adjust the export parameters, file name, etc. Are you not getting this?

Hi John.

After selecting the parameters and starting the export I have had no box with the estimated export time or amount of frames that have been rendered. All I have is a progress bar at the bottom of MEP. The same as I would get if making a proxy file. Unfortunately this has been rendering for some hours now with a few hours to go and it has pretty much stopped me from taking screen grabs or much else. I can just about use this forum.

It's just I've been trying to get an export of a Borris Title effect rendered. Each time I've tried this particular export it has ended with a blank white file. MPEG-4, HEVC, MOV. So I tried MXV and now while it's chugging away I have no way of either cancelling the export or seeing if it is actually exporting correctly. Commit charge to memory is now up to 19.8GB and climbing and is about half way through. Intel GPU is bouncing back and forth from 1% to 100% CPU averaging 27%. Looking at Task manager it's MEP bouncing the GPU around while BCC Title Studio is listed as very high CPU usage averaging 13% usage. Never seen my pc this gummed up 😆. Temperatures are good all round though keeping below 47c.

By my estimate this should cease in about four to five hours.

I was trying to get some use out of Borris Titler as it seems it is a full licence for one year.

@CubeAce Gday Ray, something cock-eyed there, I get the normal Export box showing all the details of the MXV export as it progresses. I'm afraid you'll have to turn in that new computer and go back to your 486. That'll fix it. 🙂

The dialog is present for me, however this may be a similar situation as I found with the VPX 12 project import progress dialog 'disappearing'.

It may be hiding under a pane - this is what was happening in VPX with the project load progress dialog it was under the timeline pane, a minor adjustment of the timeline pane height fixed it in VPX for me.

Hi John. That thought had occurred to me but once started I had no way of bringing it to the front. I think I broke the project somehow anyway as the finished file was still white. The file was also a lot smaller than I expected it to be, only 250MB or so for fifteen seconds.
