I have upgraded to Movie Edit Pro Premium. But when I click on Effects - Design Elements - Test Images (for example), nothing appears. Help appreciated!

Unfortunately you have made your first post to a thread which has nothing to do with your specific problem! Can I urge you to start a new thread with your question (just click the "New Post" button on the Video forum title page)?
Also, please read this post and give us all the information requested there, in particular exactly which version of MEP you have and whether it is Basic, Plus or Premium, along with information about your version of Windows.

I have upgraded to Movie Edit Pro Premium
Can you tell us exactly which version you now have, (look under Help>About)? The items you ask about, specifically Effects>Design Elements>Test Images, do not exist in the latest version of MEP Premium (ver 17.0.1.130); Design Elements now appear under Templates but I do not see Test Images there!
So, can you give us more details, please?
Just one thought: did you download and install all the additional content files, under Help>Install extra content?

It is version 17.0.1.130 (UDP3)
My question was in relation to the drop-down menu under 'Effects'. Like you, Test Images in not under Templates either - I only have Collage, EdgeEffects and Multi PiP there.
Yes, I have installed extra content (apart from Mpeg-4 Codec)
