Different Pricing for video edit pro 2014 bundle

Recently Magix sent me an email ( as they do from time to time) My email has always been an Australian email address - xxxxx.COM.AU - The offer for the bundle was 49.99 GBP- OK  I assume this is the going price "worldwide" as It is in GBP.

Having accepted this , I buy the bundle in good faith and load the Video Edit Pro 2014. On the opening screen I see a button which says more info. Pressing the button brings up a web page with the same package, but for AUD 69.99.

The bill I have received for the on-line download is AUD $93.97 a difference of AUD $23.98. As you can imagine I am not happy with this. Please advise if you will refund the difference or offer an upgrade to a the video edit program. The other option is to uninstall the bundled products and seek a full refund.

Hi Dave,

I understand your frustration, but unfortunately, this is a user forum so no one here works for Magix.  I would suggest that you contact Magix sales with this problem and ask them to resolve it for you.

It is likely that your account is set to receive the UK marketing emails and thus you received a price for GBP. The Australian store can often have different offers, as the prices are set differently across the various stores.

If you contact sales directly as George posted, then we can help you resolve this. We normally cannot refund the difference directly, due to the stores being seperate and exchange rates, however, we can refund your purchase and you can purchase at your local price or provide the upgrade for you.

The contact form is located here:
