@Haruyashi To my knowledge, Independence included in Acid (downloaded via the Help menu) only works inside Acid, so there isn't any need to deactivate it.

And, in my case, my standalone serial number for Independence starts with P2, which cannot be deactivated by the user. It simply allows multiple activations on different machines. In rare cases it's possible to hit an activation limit and then you'll need customer support to reset the counter.
