Does it matter from where in the world we download the trial, will the download be oriented to our locale.

Hi everyone

I am using a trial version of MEP Plus, and am wondering if it matters where in the world I am.

I ask because I seem to be showing the date in US format as opposed to european, and do not know how this came to be, I know how to rename the movie to avoid this, but was just wondering why not eu format.

When I downloaded the trial, I registered with the incorrect location, it was presellected, and I altered it as soon as I realised.

I am also curious as whether or not location influences the download content, such as plugins and effects etc, seeing as I am in a pal area I would rather fnd out now before I purchase so as to avoid any potential problems later on, with the likes of suitable updates to the program or even plugin or effect types. Could I also ask if the extras that are advertised with the pro plus version are in the trial download, or do these only come when one purchases the product.

Hi John

That is the International Standards Organisation (ISO) and accepted European date format.

If I rename files using a date format I always use this because when you sort by date they come up in the correct order.

I personally change the name of the movies as you can see below - right click the date and choose Rename movie

This is an example of a 7 movie DVD/BD project I did.

The location does not alter the additional content and I think most of it is only available after you buy the program.

If it it is available with the trial it should be selectable in the download installation manager or after download via Help > install additional content.
