I don't understand. QuickTime is not officially supported in Win 10.

There are a lot of players that will play old QuickTime videos. A quick web search will bring up quite a few.

I prefer this one https://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.en-GB.html

but others may have other suggestions.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

We need more information, see this topic for what is required for your computer and program version and carry out an analysis of the video files.:

  1. Which version of Movie Edit Pro (MEP) are you using.
     
  2. Are you using Quicktime to import Quicktime or export Quicktime video.
     
  3. Are you using the Quicktime player to play video, if so what format video are you trying to play?
     
  4. A MediaInfo analysis of the files you are using in 2 and 3

Any other useful information would help.

Magix Edit does not support those other video players. I just got Magix Edit Pro 2 weeks ago. And no i play back them with other media players and they work fine.

What do you mean by this - Movie Edit Pro (MEP) has nothing to do with supporting media players, they are independent programs.

Is this your first time editing video?

Do you mean either:

  1. the videos that you are importing into MEP do not display correctly in the program

    or
     
  2. videos you export from MEP do not play in certain players - if so which players and what format are you exporting to

MEP is a video editor, VLC and others are video players. You cannot play back a MEP project file in the video players because it is not a video.

Do not open QuickTime. The only reason we install it is to get the CODEC on the computer. The CODEC is used by MEP.

What exactly are you trying to do?

I suggest that you watch my videos on Getting Started and basic editing and that you read the Quick Start chapter in the manual.
