Download from Cloud Import Fails

tomtomsnare wrote on 11/28/2025, 9:52 AM

Hi, I get random behavior from the Download function in Stock Media on Magix Hub. A few have worked, now they are very intermittent. I try closing software, logging out of my account, etc. When I click on Download (either resolution), it says "Download has started" but they usually don't end up in my Cloud Import folder. My quota is ticking down and they do show up in my Downloads filter within Magix Hub, but they aren't actually downloaded to my hard drive.

This is essentially making the Magix Hub royalty free function useless.

@tomtomsnare

Hi,

Did you look in the location where the files actually go to:

C:\Documents\MAGIX\Video deluxe 2026 Plus\MAGIX Content

or something similar with your program\\MAGIX Content?

In VDL/VPX, there is a problem with the Import/Magix media/Cloud Import, Magix Content and Magix Downloads. Clicking on Cloud Import goes to C:\Documents\MAGIX\Video deluxe 2026 Plus\MAGIX Content, Magix Content goes to whatever you put in the Program settings/Folders for Projects, as does Magix Downloads.

Check also the location that you put in Settings/Folders for Magix HUB.

I just tried downloading some content from Stock Media and it showed up under Magix Content.

Thanks, John. Yes, the files do end up in a similar folder for me, just intermittently. My current workaround is to close the program and restart it each time I want to download a stock media file. It works perfect the first time on a fresh start, then won't download subsequent files. Pretty odd.
