edit mode not showing the buttons to switch between modes

I have installed magix edit pro 16 on a windows 7 and windows 10 pc and for some reason on the windows 10 and go into edit mode i'm not seeing the buttons/tabs to switch between the different modes...is there an up date for windows 10 to correct this?

We need more information:

Computer specification - processor make/model, graphics card or chipset, RAM, hard drive configuration, sizes and free space?
Windows version and is it up to date? Press and hold down the Windows key and the R key - in the dialog that opens type in winver and press enter.
Movie Edit Pro (MEP) full name and version number - as found under Help, About . . also see below

Also please read this post before replying and add any other information you think may be relevant.

Do you mean Movie Edit Pro 16, version number 9.x.x.x or MovieEdit Pro 2016 version ? It is important not to abbreviate the year version if you mean 2016.

If MEP 16 then it is not compatible with Windows 10 and you will need to upgrade to a Windows 10 compatible version - in my case the upgrade to Windows 1703 stopped MEP 17 from working.
