Editing a drumkit Loop

I found a drumkit loop in my MM pool. However, it comes with a delay effect which is rather annoying. Is there a way to remove this delay using MM?

@webdude Split the stereo object into two mono objects via the SHIFT and Z keyboard shortcut. Then select the "left channel" mono object with the quieter delay effect (It's louder on the right channel). Add a gate effect VST (maybe you can add Magix essentialFX Gate?) and reduce the release time.

Thanks. I reduced release time to zero but no noticeable change, however.

Obviously, don't forget to mute or delete the right channel mono object.

Here is it. muting right reduces the delay a bit but doesn't eliminate.

@webdude Have you heard the example I uploaded? It should sound the same in your case. I set the release to 30 ms if I remember correctly.
