I am using Magix music maker MX. When i lay my track it is crystal clear but when i record my vocals i hear a horrible static . Is there any way to reduce or eliminate the static to get a clear recording without having to purchase a new software?
I have never noticed static in my recordings using Music Maker.
What is your sound card?
What is your microphone?
I am not sure it is a program issue, but it could be a setup issue. It is hard to stay without knowing more about the setup.
it's not so much a static, but more of a feedback problem. My microphone is a Omnidirectional Dynamic Microphone from RadioShack
It might just be something because you are to close to the speakers or you are to close to a electrical field.
If you are using a mic that is plugged into a mixer and the mixer is plug into the same circuit that the computer is plugged into, you could be recording that cycle hum as well.
