error 59, Disc will not load

David-Cowan wrote on 10/11/2021, 8:55 AM

My Youtube film on Movie Edit Pro Plus was almost finished, but started to lose audio files until there was none left.

Disc did upload noisily for a while but then gave "error 59" and eventually wouldn't upload at all. Other discs would upload, but not all.

@David-Cowan

Hi

Error -59 means the program folder may be damaged - see this Support article.

If that does not fix the issue then we need more information:

  1. Movie Edit Pro (MEP) version as found under Help, About

  2. Windows version and build number - see this topic on how to get these details

  3. The rest of your computer spec details required in topic linked to above and please quote the graphics card make/model in full.

 . . . . Disc did upload noisily for a while but then gave "error 59"  and eventually wouldn't upload at all. . . . .

What do you mean by this - were you trying to re-install MEP and the install failed with this error, or what?
