Error code -1

Nika_Miko wrote on 2/27/2021, 10:49 AM

Hi.
I got a -1 error. I did everything as recommended by the technical support, but in the last point there is the mentioned Interner Explorer, and on Windows 10, Microsoft Edge is the main browser, so I don't know how I can complete this step.
Unfortunately, changing the "background intelligent transfer service" to automatic did not help, it was just a check if IE works offline. However, I can't get to that.

Anyone can help?

Greetings.

Hi Nika and welcome to the user to user forums.

I don't know what your error is from your description or what instructions you got from tech support but Internet Explorer 11 should be a part of the Windows 10 instillation and can be opened from the task bar in the list of apps under Windows Accessories.

Hi Nika.

You have gone to 'M' for Microsoft. Look at my image again. It is inside the Windows Accessories folder under 'W'.

What were your instructions from technical support?

I was really looking at the list. I don't have "IE" under "W".
I did not receive any other answers, from the technical side.

Hi

. . . . Computer has IE but opening and using Microsoft Edge. . . . .

The default browser does not matter so long as the settings previously given are set correctly.

To open Internet Explorer to check it is not offline, press the Windows key and the type Internet Explorer you should then get something like this

with Internet Explorer top of the list - open it and then check the settings mentioned in the support article for IE.
