I registered it on April 14, 2026 and had been using it without any issues. However, when I tried to run it on May 4, 2026, the error code appeared. It was working fine until May 3, 2026.
Please help me resolve this issue.
@Rera53 Here you can check if the serial number actually applies to Sound Forge Pro 18: https://www.magix.com/int/support/my-service-center/product-downloads/
If not, then you can find the correct serial number in your customer account.
When did you purchase Sound Forge 18? If you did this in 2026, then you might be able to get a free update to Sound Forge 2026 by Boris FX. Contact their customer service for details.
Hi @Rera53, you might try de-activating and re-activating . Visit the MAGIX Service Center and log into your account, go to 'My Products> Show More Details > Deactivate. the pertinent activation ... or directly in Sound Forge, "Help> Deactivate the software' (with the PC connected to the internet)., then go to the Magix Service Center and reactivate with your activation serial code and your Magix account email address. This has been known resolve the issue for some users.. including myself.
As @SP. stated, you may be able to get the new 'Sound Forge 2026' for free if you purchased SFP-18 this year. BorisFX 'Sound Forge 2026' appears to be identical to SFP-18 with a few bug fixes and uses a different activation method.
