Error in module "Videodeluxe.exe"... "ACCESS_VIOLATION"

a-brevard wrote on 11/6/2021, 3:24 AM

I am getting this error every time I try to render. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and still get the same error. Does anyone know what to do to fix this? Is there a patch or something? I have the latest version of Movie Edit Pro Premium 2022 and have downloaded and installed the update. When I'm trying to render a video it all of the sudden starts saving and this error pops up.

Just got another error, only this time it was this one.

Here is the crash log...

Thanks for you help.

Hi

Please note this is a user to user forum so the full crash dumps are unnecessary as we do not have the tools to analyse what is going on.

We need more information:

  1. What is your computer specification - see this topic for details of what is required and please quote the processor and graphics card/chipset make/model in full - I would suggest you put this information in your profile signature so we do not have to keep asking for it.

  2. Are the graphics card drivers up to date?

  3. . . . . When I'm trying to render a video it all of the sudden starts saving and this error pops up. . . .

Is this immediately on start of export or later during the export?

  4. If later please post a MediaInfo analysis of the video clip(s) locate a few seconds either side of the movie time when the crash occurs - see this tutorial on hpw to set up and analyse a video clip for posting the analysis in a comment - not a screen capture - if you are unfamiliar with the software.

  5. A screenshot of the MEP Program settings, Device options tab may also help.

Added: - uninstalling and re-installing is the option of last resort - without removing files, registry entries and folders that are left behind the program is most likely to continue failing and may have made issues worse.

Thank you. I actually copied everything from one tab (movie) to a fresh tab (movie) & then deleted the old tab. Then when I rendered the video on the new tab everything worked normally without crashing.

Thanks
