@dipy

Hi

We need more information:

Your computer specification and MEP version number - see this topic for details of what is required, include the Nvidia graphic cads model.

Is this a new install or upgrade to MEP 2021, if not was it running OK before the error message started?

In addition, as the ij20x64.dll is related to jpg images, does this message appear when:

  1. you start the program?
  2. when adding jpg images to the timeline?
  3. open a project containing jpg images?

If the crash occurs when adding a jpg image, or there are jpg images on the timeline, what is the source of the images eg camera, phone screen capture etc. Do the images appear OK in the Windows picture viewer and Windows Explorer?

Note: MEP 2021 is not supported by Windows 7 - the oldest version of Windows it is supported on is Windows 8, so there may be other issues, in addition to this one, running MEP 2021.

Hi.

Are you running Windows 8 or earlier?

If earlier than Windows 8 then MEP 2021 may not fully function as expected.

I ask because your screenshot shows a Windows Experience score and that is hidden in Windows 10.

In the mean time also check your program settings look similar to these please.

Audio. Sometimes the buffers need to be increased to accommodate more audio tracks.

Video. Your box may not look exactly the same but the settings should be there.

Hi

The image in your last post was showing your Windows product key, I have removed it as the image does not provide the information asked for ie which version of Windows are you using?

To find the version of Windows, open a Command prompt and type in winver then OK.

Please do not post serial number, product keys or other confidential information in the forum, this is a public forum, not Magix Support.

. . . . error occurs in MEP 2021 when attempting to edit audio . . . .

Is this audio attached to a video or separate audio file?

What editing are you trying to do to the audio file?

Are the sources file local to the PC or on a network?

If on a network are they shared by other users?

Hi

There are multiple reasons that cause the “IJL20X64.DLL” error message to occur. IJL20X64.DLL is an essential component for some Windows applications, and the error message is a sign that the file is corrupt or missing, which affects the program. This could be caused by malicious software, incorrect installations, faulty programs, registry issues, etc.

An error message associated with IJL20X64.DLL indicates that the file is corrupt or missing.

Commonly occurring error messages related to IJL20X64.DLL include:

“The program can’t start because IJL20X64.DLL is missing from your computer”

“Error loading IJL20X64.DLL. The specified module could not be found”

“There was a problem starting IJL20X64.DLL”

“IJL20X64.DLL could not be located”

“Cannot register IJL20X64.DLL.”

Try running malware program and update any associated drivers.

Regards

Stephen
