@axeldw

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

The current latest version of MEP is 20.0.1.73, so your installed version is four full upgrade versions behind. The TRA which you have has now been superseded by "Magix Travel Maps". As a result I doubt whether the errors you are seeing with TRA will be corrected and your only option may be to update your version of MEP and hence also get Travel Maps, which is part of the installation of the latest version of MEP Premium. 😢

@axeldw

There is a sticky on the French forum that suggest the following. I don't know if it works, but you can try it. The problem arises from the suppliers of the maps who changed the access scripts.

Since early April 2020, many users who are on Windows 10 version 1909-18363 and who wish to use the Travel Route Animation (TRA) module receive this type of error message when launching the route animation assistant.

Response from technical support:

This problem is known in older versions and this is a recent problem probably to changes in the maps. There is unfortunately no more updates for older versions ..."

So and in conclusion to continue the using TRA, proceed as follows:

1.- Close the alert window.

2.- The route creation module opens on a blue screen and with no map data.

3.- Zoom out the view on the map using mouse wheel to have the world map visible.

4.- Zoom in again on the area where you want to complete your route.

5.- Add points manually, clicking on the area on which you want to create a step, and then proceed by manually laying successive points.

The search for places no longer works.
