I've transferred video from a HD film camera. When I've finished editing, how do I export the video to a format that's possible to burn on a DVD as well as play on windows media player?
Yes, but I have a lot of raw material from the videocamera that I will edit later, so I don't want to burn anything on DVD until later. The problem is that the files I have imported to Magix takes up a lot of space on my computer, and I want to save them on an external hard drive as media files, and delete this film from Magix. So how do I do this? Would be happy if someone could give me a step-by-step instructiom ;)
That's the task of burning data to a DVD. It's not a job for MEP.
You've provided no details of your OS but if it's say Windows 7, start by reading a few of the 11 million hits from the Google search 'how to burn a data dvd on windows 7'.
If you want to edit some or all of the files in MEP first (you don't say which version), then export them in any compact format, such as MP4.

It is a wonder that being member since 2008-07-28, you had no idea that you can export your video to h.264, or mpeg-2, or where that menu item would be?
