Exporting Quality Issues

1) I am attempting to export a video to a QuickTime format. It is the standard QuickTime Player that came downloadable with MEP 2014 Plus. When I export the video, the final QuickTime video does not have any audio. How do I fix this? I am exporting in 1920x1080, with all the standard preset export settings. Video and audio both playback fine while editing in MEP.

  2) Also, when uploading to YouTube, I am noticing a very sizable difference in quality from the exported video, to what is played back on YouTube. Why is this? The exported video looks HD and crystal clear, however the video, once uploaded to YouTube, appears as if it had been shot on a flip phone. It is poor quality, and motion pans seem to be slightly jumpy. Is there a way to up the quality once uploaded to youtube, perhaps by changing an export setting? The video from start to end has been rendered pre-export.

I am using MEP 2014 Plus

Hi

For question 2 the required settings/recommendations for Youtube are here

Check that your Quicktime is the current version.

Check wich version number your MEP Plus is at - Help, About Magix Movie Edit Pro - it should be 13.0.2.8 if it is a lower version number than you are not patched up to date - update the program to the latest version.

Hope to get some feedback as to whether this solves the problem. We got none to our replies about your cross fade issue.
