I have had this on occasion and found that leaving the program running without doing anything for 10 - 15 mins, then closing it then restarting the computer the issue has gone.

If the error repeats, I would suggest you raise a Support ticket - link is at top of page - select Photo Manager it is under Photo & Design, on the next page scroll to the bottom and select Contact Support then Send email and follow through the dialogs.
