Using windows 10

Sound Forge 14 won,t play tracks after burning on CD. My CD Player in Car Gives error 1 Using CD Disk CD_R . The Software Says The Burn Passed with no Problems. Thanks for any help.

Audio format? .wav? mp3? Etc? Is it possible the disc was defective? Did you try burning/playing with another disc to check?

Welcome to the Magix Sound Forge community @dterrel1

What version of Sound Forge are you using? .
Are you burning an Audio CD or a data CD-ROM? .
Audio CDs can basically be burned in two flavors, Track-at Once (TAO) and Disc-at-Once (DAO).. AFAIK, SF-AS (Audio Studio) and older version of SF-Pro can only burn TAO, which will not play in all CD players, nor can metadata (aka, CD text= song, artist) be written,... In order to have an audio CD play in all CD players, it must be of the 'Red Book' compliant DAO format. Using good quality blank CD-R discs is a no brainier, though they do not have to be the so called 'Music CD' variety. Rendering an temporary image prior to the actual writing of the disc is a good idea as well, and I prefer the SCS CD Architect 5.2 in the rare instance a client requests an audio CD.. which is going the way of the 8-track cartridge and Phillips cassette.
