Failed to create VST effect

I have just purchased and installed Samplitude Pro X5 Suite upgrade on Win 10 64. I'm trying to use Melodyne on an audio object. When I click on the option in the context menu it comes up with "failed to create VST effect" and "couldn't initialise ARA". Melodyne appears to be installed, and I have an Authorisation Code, but I don't recall doing any authorisation during the installation. How can I check my authorisation now after installation?

Spectralayers 7 is now a Steinberg product. I suggest you visit and repost to the Steinberg support forums.
