I used a file cleaning program and it removed file from Magix. :
ini file not found
background bitmap not found
knob bitmap not found
Now application will not start and asks for the original disc. I canoot locate the original disc. Is there any way to get these files? Musicmaker 14
Unless they are still in your Recycle Bin/Wastebasket and can be restored, you're pretty much out of luck. If you're using Window and have a restore point earlier than your "system cleaning", then use that.
Otherwise, what are we supposed to say to people who don't bother to keep and store their software in a safe place?
Procyon is sounding like me ! another thing you might try is go to Add/Remove programs , find Magix and do a remove....it might give you a Repair optaion, click on that and may the force be with you ! Good luck
