Filter Movie Edit Pro in searching Forum

When I search these forums, I get hits for every product that's supported here. How do I filter so I only see hits for Movie Edit Pro.

Greetings,

Try typing Movie Edit Pro after your search string. This narrows the search down.

Unfortunately, if Movie Edit Pro is mentioned in another part of the forum, for example on Photostory, then that will also appear in the search results.

@Ian-Schwartz

Alternatively, in the forum video area header, simply deselect ALL the products except MEP. See the screenshot below (I have left ALL products selected, clicking on any of them will turn them "grey").

Hi,

Limit Video to Movie Edit Pro using the products button, type in "Soundpool Movie Edit Pro" in the search box and you should get a nice mix of MEP, VPX, Music Maker and ACID.

Still with MEP as the only button lit, change the search to "Soundpool" and you'll get a whole load of Music Maker.

Uncheck MEP so that all buttons are lit. Search again for "Soundpool." Same result?

Check just Video Pro X and search again for "Soundpool." You'll get mostly Music Maker results.

So, while adding the product name in the search box does limit the number of hits, it would seem that the selection of one of the buttons does not.

It would be nice if there were more search options available.

Also, I would be pleased if, under my profile, Comments, I could limit the list to, well, anything would help. Adding my user name to the Search gives the results below.

I tried searching for "YouLean" and got many hits, including mine. I tried "YouLean browj2" and "YouLean @browj2" and got nothing, even though many of the threads have my user name. I tried "Soundpool browj2" and got many hits, mostly Music Maker, with and without VPX checked under Video.

So, even searching for a key word along with my user name is not always successful or does not return valid threads.

I totally agree with browj2. I've used support portals for 10s of products and this is the least searchable one I've come across.
