GPU Acceleration

I use Vegas Pro 18. I recently updated my AMD Radeon software. Ever since then the AMD acceleration in Vegas 18 is no longer an option. I have updated all of the drivers suggested in Vegas. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Vegas 18. The AMD option still does not appear. However, it is still available in Vegas 17, which is fine but what's the point of having Vegas 18 if I have to use 17 to render with the AMD acceleration. I'm not sure what else to do make that option available again.

Hi Charles and welcome to the forums for the other Magix products.

Unfortunately we don't know about the requirements for Vegas products as there user forum website is here.

We do know that Movie Edit Pro and Video Pro X are optimized to use nvidia graphics cards but whether that is true for Vegas you would have to ask there.
