H 265 Codec 4:2:2:10 Bit format not compatible with Movie Studio 2022

Hi, Pl help me to resolve the above issue as I am not able to edit video files, H 265 Codec 4:2:2:10 Bit format from my Sony A7SIII in the above format. I upgraded from my editing software but to no avail.

Hi.

As far as I'm aware Movie Studio 2022 does not handle 10 bit video.

For that you either need to cross grade to Movie Studio Edit or Magix VPX and then you may need to also pay out for the additional Intermediate codec.

The above is from the VPX manual.

I would check on the Vegas forum first about whether MSE will edit such files before a purchase.

@pratapyadav17 You were given the options in your last post, did you upgrade to Video Pro X as suggested? have you tried converting your media to 4.2.0 so you can edit it

Movie Studio 2022 is what used to be called Movie Edit Pro 2022.

This topic will be closed as it is a duplicate of your previous post where you were given solutions - upgrade to Video Pro X or convert the files.
