@Walter-Nezwisky There's only 2, Video deluxe & Video Pro X, 3 products if you include Vegas Pro. All have a Trial version that you can download from the Magix website & test for 30 days.
Each have different 'package' options such as 'Premium' & 'Ultimate' but all packages are based around the same 3 products + some extras, so only the base trial version is needed for testing.
@johnebaker does that mean you get to download all the with the trial version, you get to download all the proDAD, and additional addons? I'm not sure on that.
@Walter-Nezwisky the only real difference between Premium and Ultimate are, as pointed out by @Gid are the additional plugins/addons. The editing program is the same as pointed out. You pay extra for the additional content. I don't believe you will be able to download the content to "compare".
You also don't get Boris FX BCC Chroma Key Studio with Movie Studio Platinum and there are less AI hub functions and storage allocations between versions.
I don't think any third party effects come with trial versions. It's also worth noting that sometimes the specs needed to run third party effects is higher than that to run the base program.
Not all third part effects can be run within the program .
