How do I create individual audio files and collect them into personal soundpools

As a musician I do not want to always depend on sampled sounds.  I want to create my own individual audio files and then organize them into sets of personal soundpools.  For example I want to do some work with minor cords or country sounds and then put them into my own soundpools.

Simple.  Preferably on a second hard drive, you would create a folder (or folders) for your "personal soundpools" in an easily found and readily accessible location.  Then, any audio files that you've created or found can be stored in those folders as you see fit.

However, since they are NOT MAGIX soundpool files, they will NOT show up in the soundpools in MMM.  You will access them using the File Manager tab, which is just like using Windows Explorer.  Click on the file to preview it and then simply click-and-drag the file into the arranger.

Also, these files will NOT behave as a soundpool file unless you have assigned a tempo to the file(s).  You need to do this using the Beat Finder.  However, this feature works best on audio files that have a strong, distinctive beat.

You can create your own audio files by recording audio or exporting MIDI tracks.  Since audio, such as vocal tracks, cannot have a beat assigned to them with Beat Finder, I would suggest recording them at the desired tempo using the metronome or a beat track, export them as an audio file, and save them to an appropriate folder for that particular tempo.
