Hi Gang, Sorry I don't know the correct nomenclature to use here; anyway, this is what I want to do...
- First, make a screen capture, maybe ten, maybe twenty seconds long; whatever, enough to let the viewer concentrate, think, assimilate, and hopefully absorb the content
- Oh BUT ---> Today's software has a universal tendency to cram way too much info on the screen at one time. The result is obfuscation and extreme levels of discouragement; typically enough to disengage the viewer from any future involvement.
- I have seen videos all over the place where the author makes a little circle; really, it's usually more like an oval or an ellipse.
- If it has an "imperfect" connection at the top, it's even better, as that looks more like a human drew the image on the screen for the viewer
Please help the clueless newbee. I tried searching for "How do you draw a circle ?" and the system says there is no such thing.
First goal: Vocabulary; i.e., I want to learn which words, phrases, jargon, and generally accepted lingo I need to ask this question.
Second goal: Acquire the skill needed to draw a bright orange ellipse around the secret key phrase on the viewer's screen which has a thousand words on it.
If we already have a tutorial video on this topic, please just point me to it.
I'm using Movie Studio 18 Platinum
