Hi,

Copy the video file from your DVD to your hard disk, to do so:

1) Create a directory or folder on the C: drive

2) From the DVD drive select the files your need to copy and use right mouse button Copy

3) Paste it in the folder previously created the files using the right mouse button Paste.

4) Select the folder containing the file on C: drive right mouse button Properties change the files properties  for Archive ( Not read only) probably Windows has change for you automatically

5) You are ready to open or use in MEP

Hi

Use Wndows Explorer to browse the DVD select the files need - see my reply in this post and copy to your hard drive into your project folder.  Then in MEP drag the VOB or converted  VRO to the timeline and edit as required.
