How do you find Music Maker Jam style licenses?

Ellerian wrote on 10/12/2020, 2:15 PM

I've looked on Catooh, but the Music Maker Jam (for Android) styles don't seem to be there. Music Maker (the PC version) soundpools are on Catooh, but some soundpools on MMMJam aren't, such as "Digital Pop" and "Trap Vol. 2." I bought them to use in Music Maker Jam, made tracks with them, but can't seem to find them on Catooh for licensing. Are they under different names from MMMJam to MMM? Are they already licensed because I bought them via the MMMJam app? Is there a separate website for MMMJam soundpools?

Catooh is long gone. Now there is Producer Planet and a lot of Soundpools got renamed. Ask infoservice@magix.net for help. Only they can tell which Soundpools you will need to get the commercial license for.

If you know the file names of your loops you can find them maybe in this list I made some month ago. It should list all loop names from the late 1990s up to releases from early 2020. https://www.magix.info/de/forum/list-of-soundpool-loops-by-name--1242858/

Sorry, Producer Planet was what I was referring to, I was calling it Catooh because every thread I saw about this topic called it Catooh and the catooh.com url redirects to Producer Planet anyway so I kind of got it mixed up.

So, the soundpools ARE under different names? Is there any way to tell which ones may've been changed or is contacting infoservice@magix.net the only way forward at this point?

The easiest way is contacting infoservice@magix.net and asking them about the Soundpools.
