animenamiac,

Sorry I don't have Music Maker to try, but a web search for removing lyrics brought up a suggestion for Audacity (a free program) and the technique might work with MM as well. You duplicate and invert the track and subtract one from the other. If the vocals are mono they cancel each other and you're left with the instrumental mix.

See: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/help/faq_i18n?s=editing&i=remove-vocals

Perhaps regular MM usesr can offer something better?

Regards,

Carl

Hi

Assuming the song is for example  a mp3, or wav  - then it is extremely difficult in music Maker - the filters are not sophisticated enough.

The inverting and mixing technique will have strange effects on the instrumentals.

There are some filters/programs available on the Internet which say they can remove vocals, however the ones I have tried in the past are not worth the effort.
