How to apply 2 gamma correction at the same time?

Hi all,

I'd like to apply Low and High gamma corrections at the same time to a video but I don't find a way to do so. For example, it can be usefull to correct overexposure and shadows without touching Mid gamma.

If I apply Low gamma correction and apply it, if I do a High gamma correction right after, Low is directly turned into High correction and Low correction is not applied anymore. How could I do that by avoiding to export the video with Low gamma correction and then apply the High one? Or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks for your answers.

Lionel.

Hi,

You can't. Try using HDR Gamma for the low, then Gamma High.

If you want more control, then you need Video Pro X where you can use curves.

Damn, I was not really expecting an other answer but I gave it a try.
That's what I do by playing with HDR stuff but I'm not that convinced. It will be better this way than the orignal video anyway.
But thank you for your reactivity browj2.
