How to create my own music on Music Maker 2013 instead of just using sound-pools, midi recordings, and sound recordings?

Hello, after experiencing with the "Magix Music Maker 2013," it has come to my attention that I am not able to actually "create" my own music unless through midi and sound recordings.  If this is not true, I'd truly appreciate some support on how I can create my own music JUST using my laptop computer instead of just mixing and editing sound-pools.  Thank you.

Are you serious?  You don't honestly expect an answer do you?

If you don't want to use MIDI or sound recording the create your own music, what else is there???

nccesna,

You don't it seems need a physical  MIDI keyboard:

I don't have MM but assume the input from the on-screen keyboard isrecorded in some form -- perhaps MIDI or possibly even as a .wav file. As Procyon said, MIDI and audio recording of some form are a must for your own imput. The program is Magix, not 'Magic'! :-)

Hi NC. Do you mean by not using exclusive Magix content? There are many WAV/midi/MP3 (etc) files, from sources other then Magix, you can purchase or some you can download for free. You can then import these into the program and with the effects you can alter them to your hearts content so they sound unlike the original.

Cheers,
