Application : movie edit pro premium 2021
version number : 20.0.1.73
The manual says how to burn project to disc. How can I only export a bluray project to a local folder without burning please?
I mean : I am producing a bluray, creating menus, and I only want a disc image without burning any disc. How can I do it please?

@Bertrand-Humeau

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

On the DVD/Blu-ray Burn Screen, at the top you should see your BD Writer listed. Immediately to the right of its name is a small downwards pointing arrow. Click the arrow to open the dropdown menu and select "Image Recorder".

This will create the export to folder which you want, along with an .iso (image) file which is the zipped version of the contents of the folder. The .iso file can be used to burn a disc using any software that can Burn a Disc Image.

@emmrecs Thank you for the explanation. It is helpful.

Where can I configure the path of the output folder please?

Assuming you have made no changes to the default settings under File>Settings>Program (shortcut Y)>Folder it will be C:\Users\your user name\Documents\MAGIX\Movie Edit Pro Premium\Disc Images. If you wish to permanently select a different folder - I do, I use a dedicated folder on a different drive - change this setting to your choice.

When you press the Burn button, you will then be asked to select exactly where you want the .iso file to be saved. Again, by default it will be the folder as above, but you can change it here. The Export will then create a new folder within that directory which contains all the files - it will be named after whatever project name you have previously chosen, so something like "BD Image - your project name". The .iso file can be saved in a different folder if you wish. My modus operandi is to have a dedicated folder for the .iso of each project; once I am entirely happy that the project is complete and the burn successful I actually delete the folder of individual files (the one I called "BD Image - your project name") and simply use the .iso file for any further disc burning.
