Hi,

1) Select the video track using click on track with left mouse button

2) From Edit menu use Ungroup function to dissociate video and sound.

You can use the shoercut Shift + G.

Can you be more specific about the type or cause of the  'noise' - is it:-

    -   low light noise?

    -   pixellation noise?

    -   tape noise?
