If you need to know how to slide it's simply click and drag! 

 

More the challenge is matching. I'd suggest looking (as close to the start as possible) for some matching waveforms and slide one to match the other. You may have to zoom in a bit to see enough detail if your clip and mp3 are long. As you get closer zoom in to single frame accuracy for your final slide. I think MEP will snap to single frame lines so matching might not be perfect, but 1/25 second or less shouldn't be a problem.

 

Having alligned at the start, now go to near the end and check that the two are still in sync. If not you will have to use 'stretch' mouse mode to drag the end of one to match the other. Hopefully both are running at the same speed so two sync points will allign the lot. If one of your sources has variation (eg camera turned off and then on while mp3 recorderd continuously) you will have to subdivide and do each section on its own.
