howcome my synthesizer will not let me place notes?

when i click and open one of the synthesizers it only lets me zoom in, instead of the pencil that lets you draw notes

It would have been helpful to tell us which version of MMM you are using.

It sounds like you do not have the correct tool chosen in the Vita MIDI Editor.

I am using version 18, and i have the draw tool selected but it still only shows the magnifying glass
