I am trying to edit and build a movie using footage from my DJI drone which uses MP4 output at 4k. I just downloaded the free veriosn to try and want to import my mp4 file. I get a pop up that says it cannot do a HVEC. What can i do?

Hi and welcome to the forum.

For HEVC import see this Support article.

If you are wanting to export the HEVC the codec is fee based activated - you should be offered to purchase this when you first select the HEVC option and directed to the Store.
