@JIM-MAXIM

We need rather more detail about the disc if we are to have any chance of helping you, I think.

First, what type of disc? I'm guessing you want to create a DVD containing the exported video of a project from VPX. Is that correct? (Which version of VPX by the way; you can check under Help>About?)

What are the formats of the various source files you mention (videos pics and music)? The free MediaInfo is a very valuable tool for discovering format details of all sorts of files, images, videos and audio. If you're not sure how to go about gathering this data please read and follow this tutorial.

From your description of the problem it seems the export stops at the same point each time. Is that correct? If so, what is on the timeline at the point where the export stops? If you remove the object used at that point on the timeline, does the export then finish, albeit possibly with a "gap"?

Have you got a Range set (a blue line above the first track)? If so, is the right hand end of that line at the 24 minute mark (i.e., where the stop occurs in the export) and have you set the export to be only that range?

Sorry for all the questions but the more detail we have the more likely we are to be able to suggest what is causing the problem and how to avoid it!

I appreciate your questions. Basically it stops at the same point on the DVD-R on each burn. But it loads completely if I export it as a video file to an external drive. I'll follow your suggestions and see what happens.

It appears that the downloaded AI videos are causing a problem. Disc did not burn at all, was aborted.

@JIM-MAXIM

Jim, you can isolate either the encoding/authoring process or the burning process: set the burner to "Image Recorder". Magix will then "burn" the project to an ISO file. If that is successful, the problem points to a burner issue. If the encoding to ISO fails, you know it's a problem with the project itself.
