I can't hear anything when I use my keyboard

Hi everyone,

I have a problem using my keyboard. I have a 1985 Roland Juno-1 synthesizer, a vintage keyboard that I bought months ago and it works fine however, when I bought a MIDI to USB interface wire it doesn't make a sound when I hit the keys coming out from my headphones from the speakers but when I switch my headphones to the synthesizer headphones input from the back. It sounds completely fine playing back the notes I recorded from the synthesizer. How can I change it to have the sound, that I recorded, without switching my headphones back and forth from the speakers to the synthesizer?

Thanks guys

Also, I like to add that I run a Windows 7 32-bit and I'm using Magix Music Maker 17

Hi

If you want to record the sounds from the keyboard then you should be connecting the audio out of the kbd to the audio in (blue socket) of the PC and recording from the sound card.  You may also need to enable the stereo mixer if it is a Realtek audio card.

The MIDI is a controller only, and can be used to play the various Synths in Music maker.
