I can't read a .MP4 file within Movie Edit Pro 2014 Premium while I can do this with Movie Edit Pro 2013 Premium

With Movie Edit Pro 2014 Premium I tried to Edit a Project built with Movie Edit Pro 2013 Premium.

The Intro using the soundtrack (.MP4 file) is jerky but the picture is OK!

I don't have this problem with Movie Edit Pro 2013 Premium.

Hi,

Do you not have the problem now with MEP 2013 or are you saying that you used MEP 2013 before and had no problems with that file?  If you have not tried the file in MEP 2013 recently please try it again and post the result.  I don't use MEP 2014 yet so I can't see if there are any patches, but have you checked for patches or updates?

What do you mean by this - ie is a mp4 video file with sound or a seperate mp4 video with a seperate sound clip on the timeline?

Have you activated the mp4 codec?

What is the format(s) of the video files on the timeline?

My Project was created with 2013 Premium and I have no problem when editing this Project.
I can read this audio file used in this Project in the Timeline (just in the beginning).

With 2014 Premium using the same Project, the sound of this track is "deteriorated",
the video remains intact.

Why MAGIX Movie Edit Pro 2014 Premium can't reread this file?
(MP3 ungroup from MP4)

If part of the video what is the video format ie mp4, mpg or another?

If a seperate audio file is it mp3 format or another?

Hi John,
I studied and compared my Project  within 2013 Premium and 2014 Premium.
I often use audio Tracks from --> video.MP4 (Ungroup) [grabbed on the Internet]
I keep the audio track and delete the video track

With Movie Edit Pro 2013 Premium
In my Project (first creation) : No error, when reading this tracks and exporting the Project into a file.

With Movie Edit Pro 2014 Premium
The same Project
The problem is only with the soundtracks using video.MP4 (Ungroup)
The software can’t read those tracks properly :  the sound is “jerky” and “deteriorated”

Why this error occurs with 2014 Premium?
My Online Update is up-to-date.
