I have Magix Movie Edit Pro - can it erase DVD/RW discs, if so, how?

As I said

Can I use Magix Movie Edit Pro to erase/format RW discs as I can't seem to find where to do this.

The reason for needing this is that the four times that I have tried to burn one of my movies to disc they are not recognised in our DVD players (3) and I want to erase the discs instead of wasting them.

Thanks

Hi

When you next use one of the discs to burn to with MEP it will ask you if you want to erase the disc.

. . . . disc they are not recognised in our DVD players . . . .

Not all DVD players support DVD rewriteables -you need to check for the specific players you are using.

Hi

Thanks, I don't do this often but in January 2012 I made up several DVD's of the Christmas nativity at school for parents and they played in our DVD's fine (Pioneer, Panasonic and Sony) did what I thought was the same but this time all the DVD players say that the format is not recognised, they won't even playback on the computer that I have burned them from either. I have seven discs that I have tried this on but getting fed up with wasting them and want to erase them so that I can use them elsewhere.

I wish I could go back to the good old days when I just connected my camera to the TV and recorded straight onto a VHS.
