I have Movie Edit Pro 17 currently installed on my PC. I recently imported a 3.1 Gigabyte video into the application from a DVD. I then added some chaper titles and then attempted to burn a new DVD. I received a message saying that my project was too big.....over 6 gigabytes. It was about double the imported size. How could this happen ? what could I have done differently during importing saving or exporting the project. Does this have something to do with MPEG codecs. Would I expect to see this problem with the new Movie Edit Pro 2014 ?

fhules,

Check on DVD sizes on wiki, almost certainly your video came from a 'double sided' DVD and your DVD burner is single sided with about half the capacity. If you say more about the specs of you computer those with more knowledge will surly be able to give a more complete answer.

Hi,

I agree with Carl, you need to provide a lot more detail on what you imported including original video bit rate, export "quality" or bit rate selection, you system specs and as much as you can tell us about how you are going about the burn process as possible.
