I have several. Collor correction with Croma Key and Cropping

Hello everyone.
I am just about giving up on the program Pro 2015 and I think it eventually it could be a great program BUT does not seem to have any help anywhere.
I need help with the Croma Key color correction or a reset button and also the cropping function.
Everything is PURPLE on my Video view but not on the timeline.
Very frustrating and if someone could do a screen share I promiss we will be done in less than 10 min.

You have at your monitor left above an eyeglass - click there and have a look that there is no 3D!

Further to Walter's reply:

You sound like a new user. There is a manual and it is duplicated under the F1 Help. Click on Help at the top of the screen and open the pdf file, or press on F1. Read the first part of the manual including the chapter Quick start.

There is no Chromakey color correction. Chromakey is mainly for masking.

Check under the same tab, Effects, for Color, and Color correction.

Do you have the basic version or Plus or Premium?

I am travelling, so I can't help much more than that.

Please do not post the same questions in 2 different parts of the forum as this leads to a fragmentation of the responses.

Check that there are no colour effects active on the clip(s) by looking at the top of the video tracks next to the file name. Any applied effects should be listed. Note that the timeline thumbnails will not show the effect of applied Effects that you see in the preview monitor.

If you have the Plus version of MEP, another way, with the clip highlighted, is to look at the Effects Overview by clicking the chevron at the very bottom left of the Effects tab in the Mediapool (aka the keyframer window). You may have to pull up the top of the window to see all of the applied effects applied, if they have previously being partially hidden.

Thank you everyone, I have some homework to do I guess but you have been very helpful so far and yes I am not new to magix I just have never really used it and the version I ave is Videodelux whatever that means...
