Image rotation

I have put together a slide show with some images that need rotating. I have rotated them, by selecting rotation/mirror on the view/animation tab and rotated the handle or used the rotate button on the tab. Later when I am reviewing the project some have returned to their original view, i.e., not rotated. Is there some way to lock in the rotation. I am using Movie Studio 18 Platinum version 18.1.0.24. This is in Windows 10 always updated.

Hi Pete.

If you are using size position to get portrait video to fit then you must manually add that to the key editor or it will change size. I have to do it to both ends of a clip to keep its relative size and position. I don't recall having to do that in the past and it may be a bug. If the add diamond is blanked out at the start of the clip move the cursor to the end where it should be active. Then return the cursor to the beginning of the clip and repeat as it will now be active. Check the video is still the same size and in the same position before adding the key frame point.

Hi Ray. Thanks for the advice, helpful tip.

However, the problem is evident on a clip from a mobile phone taken in portrait mode and placed on the timeline without any resizing or movement. As soon as an effect is added, the clip resizes. I have reported it to Magix and are awaiting a reply. Will let you know if I receive a response.
