I am not able to import a so-call 'boosted' video from my Pixel-10 phone. I am using Magix-pro 16. It is boosted by Google-Photos to 8K , 30fps, 170175 kbps . It gives error "MXMPEG2 Error 0110: no media decoder found".

Your system probably doesn't have the video codec for that file. It's easy to find out what codec is being used: download and install MediaInfo by following this Magix tute. On the View menu, choose the Text view then copy and paste the whole lot into a post here for us to have a look at. The video format/codec will be shown in the video section.

Do you mean Magix Video Pro X 16 ?
The error message means there is no suitable decoder for the video format produced by the Pixel 10.
Download and install MediaInfo, and analyse one of the clips and post the results, see this tutorial on how to setup MediaInfo and analyse a video clip for all the data required.

Sorry, I forget to mention: the boosted file is played without problems with VLC or 'FIlms and TV' or Media-player classic etc. VLC gives this info about the codec.
Please follow the advice given and download, install and use MediaInfo (it gives rather more information than the VLC data you showed). Also, please specify exactly which Magix video editing app you are using, as @johnebaker asked you.
The fact that other media players on your computer can play the file does not mean that any needed codec is available to your Magix software. Often codecs can be "exclusive" to a particular app.

Thanks for the MediaInfo data.
Assuming VPX 16 is not the trial version, and is fully installed including all the Extra Content available under the Help menu.
The file appears to be standard 8K UHD AVC/h.264 video and AAC audio encoded and should not be giving the MXMPEG2 Error
However, from the MediaInfo:
. . . . G:\Google_Drive . . . .
This would suggest the video file is located in the 'Cloud' on Google Drive, this is not the ideal location for video files, and may be a part of the issue.
Try downloading the video file to your computer local hard drive putting it into a folder within the Documents/Magix/Video Pro X16 folder. then import it into VPX 16.
If you get the same error message, can you give us a short, about 5 secs long, sample video file recorded in the same format from the phone to test. Upload the file to a different folder on Google Drive and share it so anyone with the link can access it . Put the link in your reply.
